I'm sure you've seen crash test videos of cars before. Head-on against a barrier, the car is rammed sideways, the car hits a pole sideways.

But that's only safety in the event of an accident. Comprehensive safety deals with many more aspects. Immediate disasters such as floods, nuclear accidents, forest fires, but also future oil crises and changes to the tax system or electricity price system.

Have you ever sat in a Ford T? No seat belt, no airbag, but a dome nut protrudes from the steering wheel to meet the driver. Where today people are almost unharmed when they get out of a wrecked car, 110 years ago it would certainly have been a fatal accident.

Not so 110 years ago, when a dome nut sticks out of the steering wheel of a Ford-T, ready to smash the driver's breastbone at any time in an accident.


The safety of today's houses is just as backward as that of a Ford T. GEMINI next Generation is designed for comprehensive safety, as opposed to the other products on the housing market, it is a leap of a century like from a Ford T to a Tesla S.

Prehistory of the GEMINI next Generation project
It started in autumn 1991 with the GEMINI habitable solar power plant, 2011 with the initiative Solar Building Land and 2018 with GEMINI 66 - we build our house ourselves.

Using existing land better and building where conventional houses cannot or are not allowed is an important objective of the GEMINI next Generation project.

As much as possible! Because we need to get out of oil, coal, biofuel, natural gas and uranium. Our houses should contribute as much as possible.
